Designer For A Day
Unsure if you are ready for our full service interior design? Not interested in a large design commitment? Need to get your ideas hashed out? Need architectural plans reviewed? Assistance with choosing paint colors, furniture placement, selecting tile? This service is perfect for you!
During the visit we will identify your style and reimagine your home. We will share our extensive knowledge with you. Once we come up with a plan, let’s go shopping! Off we go to local sources or online. Designer for a Day Program includes a follow up report detailing recommendations. Let us be your partner in design! Gift Certificates available!
Virtual Design
Virtual Design is a per room package and is great for DIY’ers. With this service you will have the same attention to detail as our Full Service Design Package. After purchasing the Virtual Design Package you will be sent a questionnaire which you email back along with inspiration photos, room measurements, and take photos of the space, noting items you want to keep.
From the questionnaire we determine the budget and we come up with suggestions to tie it all together. We will email you a mood board and floor plan. You will have the tools and resources needed to purchase at your own pace, shop where you want for similar furnishings, lamps, tile etc. or make purchases through Simply Elegant Home.
Full Service Interior Design
From the initial concept through to completion, Basha Quilici, of Simply Elegant Home will turn your dreams into reality! Rooms will flow from one to the next seamlessly. You and your family’s needs and interests will be our first priority!
We offer a comprehensive interior design serve including but not limited to:
Initial design study to determine your preferences and requirements
Review existing furnishings and artwork, determining placement, repurposing, and refinishing
Assess furniture needs and develop an overall plan for purchases
Work with contractors that we have good working relationships with or with third parties employed by you
There are three phases:
Phase 1 includes a discovery call getting to know each other and making sure we are a good fit. Followed by an in-home consultation where we discuss vision, priorities and the steps needed to activate the design for the home or room of your dreams. Photos and measurements will be taken. This is a working meeting!
Phase 2 is where we take all that was discussed and come up with a plan offering selections of fabrics, furnishings, cabinetry, tile, paint, lighting etc. There may be revisions. There may also be collaboration meetings with trades people. A proposal will be presented for approval.
Phase 3 is the purchasing and execution. Once proposals are signed and payment is received, we do all of the purchasing on your behalf, coordinate deliveries and installation. Inspections and final walk-through and then the home of your dreams is complete!
As the scope of each project is unique, this package is hourly, and includes a purchase management fee. After our initial consultations we are better able to advise you on our fees and the estimated hours.
